THE SNOW QUEEN

In a distant land a demon creates a magic mirror which turns good to bad and beautiful ugly. It shatters and a million fragments fly around the universe…

Kay is pierced by two tiny splinters from the mirror, freezing his heart and darkening his view of the world. The icy Snow Queen takes him prisoner in her frozen palace, leaving all to think him dead, except his best friend Gerda. And so begins her brave adventure through magical landscapes to find and rescue her friend…

Internationally acclaimed Italian theatre company, Teatro Kismet, returns on a rare visit to the UK with a spine-tingling version of Hans Christian Andersen's magical tale.

Renowned for creating visually stunning theatre, their new work combines physical performance, breathtaking aerial acrobatics and choreography with music, playful humour and deliciously inventive storytelling.

The Snow Queen is a thrilling theatre experience dedicated to childhood as well as to all grown ups who still love a good story and retain a sense of wonder.

Performed in English
Most suitable for ages 7 to adult
